Those bones make excellent use of sixth-generation Corvette hubs, sixth-generation Corvette spindles, Penske-engineered coil-overs and a 4-bar, large-diameter rear-clip. That clip gets pushed by a 9-inch Strange axle that's finished with a posi-traction differential and 31-spline axles. Shifts get dealt by a 4L70E 4-speed automatic transmission. Turns are tight thanks to power rack-and-pinion steering and a splined, 1.25-inch sway bar. Stops are provided by bright Wilwood calipers, which squeeze a total of 20 pistons around a quartet of drilled and slotted rotors. Spent gases float from the aforementioned headers to custom, large-diameter pipes, which pass through deep BORLA ProXS mufflers. And the car sits low and mean on chromed Coys wheels, which spin 225/45R18 Nankang Sportnex in front of 275/40ZR18 Sumitomo HTR ZIIIs.
