The 2019 Mustang isn’t due in Ford dealer showrooms for another couple of months, but the engineers at Roush Performance [www.roushperf.com] are ready with the announcement they have 2019 model year Stage 1 and Stage 2 Roush Mustangs available for delivery. Beginning with the 2019 Mustang, either in 2.3L EcoBoost (Stage 1) or 5.0L Coyote V-8 (Stage 2) drivetrain packages, Roush Performance enhances the new Mustang with a variety of aero, graphics, wheels, and more to create a unique, yet satisfying driving experience. “Together for over 20 years we’ve been designing and building high-performance Roush Mustangs engineered to thrill,” said Jack Roush Jr., advanced business strategist for Roush Performance.

Roush’s Stage 1 Mustang

The Stage 1 package begins with the 2.3L EcoBoost, which makes 310 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, to which Roush adds a stainless steel exhaust system for an aggressive and throaty performance sound. Further enhancements include the Roush R8 aero package, which is designed for maximum downforce and air management/cooling. A high-flow upper grille is adorned with a Roush “1” badge, while the widened lower grille helps with powertrain cooling.

Graphics wise the Stage 1 package is available in a variety of colors, while an optional graphics package offered for owners that want something truly custom. The Stage 1 utilizes the factory staggered GT wheels and tires. Roush offers a single adjustable coilover suspension as an option, as-well-as Roush designed wheel packages.
