Can vehicles from the 1980s and 1990s be considered classic cars yet, worthy of their own show? We'll let you decide, but the RADwood car show in Austin, Texas, makes a good case for it!
As a whole, the show might not appear to be an event HOT ROD would likely cover, but it's unique draw means there's something for everyone. If you knew where to look, there was more than a little hot rod influence throughout the show, from Fox-body Mustangs to IROC-Z Camaros and plenty of wacky LS-engine-swapped cars.
We must not be the only ones taking notice of RADwood, because the 2020 Austin show was the event's biggest yet, with 750 cars on display and 7,000 or so spectators. If you weren't one of the lucky ones who came out to the show, don't worry, we've got you covered. Check out our photo gallery from the RADwood car show to see what unique and, dare we say, rad '80s and '90s American cars we found.
