Time to chat with your boss and request time off, because here are the dates for HOT ROD Power Tour 2020! Chevrolet Performance has signed on to present another year of the world’s largest car cruise that will take over seven Midwest cities in seven days from June 7–13, 2020, starting in Ohio and ending in Wisconsin. No major highways on this cruise, though. Like every year before it, Power Tour is all about exploring small-town America and driving through the heartland’s beautiful countryside.
Every year for the last 25 years, enthusiasts of hot rods, street rods, classic trucks, and muscle cars of every vintage and style travel from all parts of the country to partake in the ultimate car-centric vacation. “Like a family reunion, HOT ROD Power Tour is more than just an annual event—it’s a return home,” said HOT ROD Editor-in-Chief John McGann. “Come join the 2020 HOT ROD Power Tour and celebrate everything hot rod culture has to offer.”
For the estimated 6,000 cars and their occupants, the venues are packed with all kinds of activities: main-stage celebrity appearances, games, entertainment, and a midway of more than 50 aftermarket performance vendors displaying all of their latest products. A few locations will also feature fun runs down the quarter-mile and autocross courses.
The party starts on Sunday, June 7, in Norwalk, Ohio, at Summit Motorsports Park and continues on to:
Monday, June 8: Montgomery County Fairgrounds — Dayton, Ohio
Tuesday, June 9: Indianapolis Motor Speedway — Indianapolis
Wednesday, June 10: World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway — St. Louis
Thursday, June 11: State Farm Center — Champaign, Illinois
Friday, June 12: Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds — Davenport, Iowa
FINALE Saturday, June 13: Alliant Energy Center — Madison, Wisconsin
