Super Sport Nova 454 Street/Show Machine
If you love your Novas big, red, bad and fast, here's your car! A built 454 up front, a 10 bolt out back, Flowmasters, beautiful paint and a custom interior this thing rocks! It'll fry the tires for a block or two, stop on a dime, and take home trophies! You gotta check out this car's mod list!
Lets drop underneath first. The floor pans are blacked out as they should be on a frame-off car and are as solid as a rock. New body mounts on the front cradle keep things from flexing, all new steering components keep the car between the lines, a Master Power front and Baer PBR callipered rear disc brake conversion does all the stopping you'll ever need while a set of old-school chromed out traction bars keep wheel hop in check. The built TH400 auto shifts hard and fast and the 10 bolt rear slams the power to the ground. Hooker Super Competition ceramic coated headers dump into a sewer pipe sized 3' stainless exhaust with New-to-the-market Flowmaster Super 44's for an awesome ground shaking rumble. New leaf springs out back are joined by front QA1 coil over shocks (yes, really!) and a set of Edelbrock Performer IAS shocks out back. The result is a low, mean look that's done right!
Stand up, take a step back and look over the exterior. That glass smooth finish in deep red goes perfectly with the black stripes front and rear. ALL new chrome and stainless trim, a mint grille, a new tail panel and taillight set, new lenses and bulbs everywhere and a full set of new glass doesn't let the bodywork down! The body gaps are great, the doors, trunk and hood close with authority and precision. Those are brand new Cragar S/S 612 series 17' wheels at all four corners with 245/40 front and 275/40ZR17 rear B F Goodrich g-Force Sport tires. You'd drop two grand if you wanted to duplicate that rolling stock! Other neat touches, like the optional window frame moldings, really dress up the overall look.
Custom interiors don't come much more unified than this. Custom red and black upholstery follows the front seats, custom-built center console and rear seat right onto the package tray! Even the door panels (with billet window cranks and new door handles) and armrests get the matching treatment! The center console armrest has the 'Heartbeat of America' logo proudly embroidered in with a big Chevy bowtie, while Nova graces the rear seats! Someone spent a lot of time and money laying all this out! A leather-covered Grant GT wheel's on the column while a B&M Megashifter sits on the floor. Auto Meter Ultra Lite gauges arrange themselves strategically around the gauge bezel while the tach rides atop the column, right where it should be! Gloss black paint and a new dash pad cover the dash frame. Ready to spend some time in here???
While the exterior is beautiful, and the interior is cool, it's the engine compartment that steals the show! Where to begin The Comp Cams-fortified 454 is COVERED in chrome and billet, from the K&N billet and carbon fiber air cleaner housing to the oil pan! An Edelbrock carb sits on an Endurashine-coated Performer RPM Air Gap manifold. Matching Edelbrock chrome valve covers with T bolt clamps further brighten the top end, while a chrome alternator, water pump and power steering pump all mounted on billet pulleys take care of the shine up front. Heat resistant foil covered loom tubing covers vital wiring while chromed corrugated radiator hoses and heater hoses move the fluids. A chrome radiator top cover holds the Be Cool aluminum radiator down while a chromed electric pusher fan supplies the airflow; a big trans cooler lurks beneath. A billet catch can sits on the driver side of the compartment, ahead of a chrome fire extinguisher and a chromed power steering brake master cylinder and power booster! Polished stainless panels in the hood reflect even more shine along with the chrome hinges and latch assembly. Whew! All that, and did you catch the part about how it fries the tires on demand? Show car that it is, this one was built to drive, too!
Nova fans, this is the car for you! Shiny, sorted, ready to win shows and seriously quick with no cut corners how can you say no? Power steering, power disc brakes, big block power, all wrapped in killer looks! Can you say "can't replicate this car for $80K?" Call us now and get this Nova out on the street where it belongs!
