In addition to better-than-factory alignment, the car's body features super sinuous appeal thanks to '67 accents. The original '63 body was painstakingly massaged and then equipped with accents like a Stinger hood to before receiving numerous coats of paint and clear coat. The result is a fully sorted Sting Ray that stands as one of the finest classics in our showroom. America's favorite sports car was built with the purpose to lap tracks, not float through a stuffy regimen of tea-times, and there's no denying its pedigree when looking at this '63 Corvette. At the front of this Chevy, hideaway headlight s, bullet-style marker lamps and a brilliant razor-blade chrome bumper cage a body-width, stainless-trimmed grille. At the sides of that grille, simple '67 heat extractors ride between traditional door handles, color-keyed rocker trim and a familiar, bowtie-branded mirror. That mirror reflects a smoothed red and white stinger hood, and like-new glass. The sides are free of any emblems but gather plenty of attention when the side pipes roar to life. At the back, you'll find a second razor-blade bumper dual-mode tail lights, a chrome-trimmed tag bracket, and a chrome Corvette Sting Ray emblem.

We've talked plenty about the show, but what good is all that 'show' if you can't back it up with a little 'go'? Lift this roadster's sculpted hood and you'll find the forerunner to virtually all the technology still featured in Chevrolet sports cars: GM's potent LS3 small block. The powerful mill utilizes 376 cubic inches to twist brutal 10.7 to 1 compression into 430 horsepower and 424 lb./ft. of torque. And despite consistently delivering track-blistering, low-end performance, it revs to 7,000 RPM and can drive like a commuter car! Up top, GM's familiar intake and fuel rail covers are covered in red and branded with Corvette LS3. Up front there's a beefy aluminum radiator that's fitted with two efficient electric puller fans. Aesthetically, the engine bay looks fantastic with the mill and chrome hardware accented by the firewall and inner fenders painted in the Dupont fire red. And one twist of the key zings the powerplant to life, pulsing rhythmic notes through the side pipes.

With that combination of power and appeal under this Corvette's hood, it's no surprise the car's black underside has received a host of visual and mechanical upgrades. Hoisting the engine and modern Corvette suspension off the ground is an upgraded tubular frame. Behind the engine, a proven Keisler 5-speed manual transmission sends power to a late model Corvette independent rear. Stops are provided by power four wheel disc brakes which utilize drilled and slotted rotors. Power meets the pavement through 18” chrome wheels which wear 275/35ZR18 Nexxen N3000 rubber. And everything from this Sting Ray's fresh fuel tank to its super clean radiator support is fully detailed and ready for the turntable.

Pop open the doors on this stingray and you'll find how the interior continues the historic look where the body leaves off. The vibrant red seats present as new both in look and feel. The aircraft-inspired instrument bezel features what appears to be all original gauges that monitor the small block's vitals from within nicely aged surrounds. The patina continues on the aluminum console plate which houses the controls for the 5-speed transmission. The piece flows in the center section of the dash which houses a Delco AM/FM radio alongside the Vintage Air and heat controls and center-mounted clock. Driver input is fed through a sleek three-spoke Corvette flag branded steering wheel and a chrome shifter while clean pads top the pedals below. A small storage area behind the seats provides room for the necessities while the fuel tank occupies the closed space where a trunk would traditionally live.
