Rotisserie Restored Charger R/T 440 Magnum V8 375 HP A833 4 Speed PS Disc Brakes
When your goal is to own a head turning muscle car, there can't be any asterisks on the spec sheet. That's why the restorer of this striking Dodge started his build with a desirable and exclusive Charger R/T. A performer from day one, this coveted MoPar is the beneficiary of a high dollar restoration that transformed it from a solid survivor into a fully detailed cruiser. Today, the car rolls as an attention-grabbing pavement pounder that's ready to hit the road and dominate the show field!
Complementing brilliant orange pigment with a traditional black tail stripe, this coupe's current condition is the product of a professional, rotisserie restoration that was completed very recently. The car's straight and solid sheetmetal was stripped, sanded and bathed in high quality 2-stage. And that smooth finish was, after being buffed to a mirror-like reflection, decked in shiny new trim.
Motivation is provided by a brash 440 that's been fully rebuilt and correctly dressed. That raucous mill is covered in traditional orange skin and centered between crisp, body-matched fenders. And everything, from the car's coated air cleaner to its clean oil pan, looks good and functions great. Behind that pan, a tough A833 4-speed twists power through a sporty Dana 60 axle. That first class drivetrain hangs in a fully restored suspension, which benefits from factory power steering and power front disc and rear drum brakes. And at the corners of the car, chrome Magnum 500s spin BF Goodrich Radial T/As.
Open this coupe's doors and you'll find nostalgic Detroit styling that's wrapped in standard black vinyl. Restored bench and bucket seats sport freshly pleated covers that, judging by their appearance, enjoyed very little road time. The vintage aura continues onto the dashboard, which offers a pleasant layout of analog gauges. And in front of the driver, a satin-spoke steering wheel spins a faux wood rim around cool fratzog insignia.
It's hard to imagine the automotive world without the Dodge Charger. Long considered one of the toughest muscle cars on the block, America's favorite MoPar has been admired by racers and purists alike. With its strong drivetrain, capable chassis and nearly universal appeal, this razor-sharp coupe is an excellent mix of old school fun and show-stopping looks. We'd like to thank the car's happy new owner for choosing RK Motors Charlotte for all his octane-fueled needs. Here's to many trophies, many years and many more miles behind the wheel of classic Motor City muscle!
