In the golden age of American muscle the Pontiac GTO was king. And today, when you're looking to grab a piece of Detroit's finest iron without closing out your retirement, an investment grade GTO is one of the smartest purchases on the market. There's no reason a blue chip classic should cost more than the mortgage on your house. And there's ABSOLUTELY no reason spending your hard earned money should result in a 'rope and red carpet' trailer queen. After all, being a part of GM's rambunctious Pontiac family was never about striking pretty parking lot poses. This fully-sorted Judge, with its correct Ram Air III V8, correct Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed and stunning Liberty Blue on Blue color combination, is the kind of car you can enjoy WHILE it appreciates. If you're the kind of gearhead who likes to put their hardware on the field and the street, you're looking at your next classic!
To authenticate this Pontiac's status as a real-deal GTO, here is a break down of VIN.

BODYWORK/TRIM
According to this goat's Pontiac Historic Services documents, it was delivered to Frank Shaver Pontiac in Hammond, Indiana. A high quality, professional restoration transformed the car into a straight, road-ready classic that looks great from any angle. At the front of this Liberty Blue coupe, a highly renowned Endura bumper hangs stainless-trimmed grilles and a pristine “G T O” emblem between a stainless-trimmed valence and clear parking lamps. A Ram Air bonnet props dual scoops beside an optional hood-mounted tachometer. At the sides of that bonnet, expressive 'coke bottle' fenders are highlighted by “G T O” emblems and bright 'The Judge' decals and vinyl striping. And out back, a thick chrome bumper centers simple tail lights below a small “G T O” badge, while another 'The Judge' decal highlights the rear spoiler.
ENGINE
Pop this A-Body's hood and you'll find a date-correct, 400 cubic inch Ram Air III V8. Turning 366 horsepower and 445 lb./ft. of torque, this powerhouse provides the legendary Pontiac performance we all know and love. At the top of the storied mill, a Satin Black air cleaner funnels air into a big, 4-barrel carburetor. A traditional points distributor shoots fire though fresh Packard TV R Suppression cables. The hot Pontiac block displays slick Turquoise pigment from its intake all the way to its oil pan. And the car's fenders, firewall and hood are covered in a smooth combination of Liberty Blue and Satin Black.
DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION
When that engine cranks to life, it twists torque through a Turbo-Hydramatic 400 3-speed that sends power to a GM 10 bolt rear. It's cradled in a chassis that displays all of the correct components beneath satin black floor pans, including optional power steering and disc brakes up front. And it all meets the rode via redline G70-14 Firestone Wide Oval Super Sports that wrap Pontiac Rally II wheels with correct PMD center caps.
INTERIOR
Inside you'll find a correct Blue interior that perfectly complements the car's glossy exterior panels. Firm, vinyl buckets and a rear bench stretch tight surfaces that appear clean and show hardly any age. Up front, a restored dash pad houses a Rally instrument cluster above controls for the radio and heating and air. A 'Judge' dash emblem is mounted on the glove box. Between the seats, a center console props the shifter for the automatic transmission. And the driver navigates the road through a traditional steering wheel.
