APPROACHABLE OPULENCE

Built to turn heads while conquering the road, this sweet Chevy is the beneficiary of a nut-and-bolt, rotisserie restoration that culminated in rich Ford Toreador Red Metallic 2-stage. At the front of those DuPont Chromabase aesthetics, a broad bumper traces a stainless grille, clear parking lamps and modern tri-bar headlights. At the top of that grille, a Chevrolet-branded hood props requisite Speer Bullet Spoons in front of a smoked greenhouse that's cleared by polished Rain Gear wipers. At the base of that stainless-trimmed glass, a Chevrolet-branded profile seats small mirrors in front of ornate speed spears and traditional door handles. And at the back of the car, a second broad bumper traces a Chevrolet-branded trunk and LED tail lamps.

PROVEN PERFORMANCE

Toss the hood and you'll find a hot LS3 small block that looks ALMOST as good as it runs! At the front of that mill, a trick Spectre air tube funnels wind in to a composite intake by way of a factory throttle body. Under that tube, a chromed March serpentine drive spins modern power steering amid a polished alternator and a polished AC compressor. At the sides of those ancillaries, pliable AC Delco plug wires split coated stainless headers and color-keyed coil covers. In front of those covers, a polished core support hangs a Griffin cross-flow radiator between a polished expansion tank and electric puller fans. Details like sleeved hoses, polished hood supports and bright Wilwood brake components ensure first-class presentation. And all that glitz is framed in glossy Toreador Red 2-stage, which coats smoothed fenders and a smoothed firewall.

ARTFUL CRUISING

Under the car, 1950s-era bones have been replaced with a modern structure that's the brainchild of Chatsworth, Georgia's Hardcore Chassis. At the center of that powder-coated skeleton, a trusty 4L65E 4-speed twists a custom, aluminum driveshaft. At the end of that tube, a Strange 9-inch axle cages 3.50 gears inside a posi-traction differential. That axle pushes a triangulated 4-bar rear-clip behind a tubular front-half. That front-half points thanks to power rack-and-pinion steering. Stops come courtesy of trusted Wilwood calipers, which squeeze a quartet of drilled, slotted and vented rotors. Spent gases float from the aforementioned headers in to aluminized pipes and tough Magnaflow mufflers. Everything rolls on chrome Foose Legends, which spin 245/45R18 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs. And the car's solid floors are dotted with first-rate details like stainless fluid lines and a stainless gas tank.

CHOICE CUSTOMIZATION

Open this Chevy's doors and you'll find a custom cockpit that mixes supple Carroll leather with the best conveniences of a modern commuter. Front and center, a sculpted dash seats polished billet trim around glowing Dakota Digital VHX telemetry and polished Phipps air conditioning vents. Speaking of seating, every passenger gets a modern bucket, the front passengers enjoy power adjustment and the driver benefits from heated cushions. A custom, full-length console centers a short Lokar shifter behind a small Dakota Digital panel that tweaks the car's modern climate control. That console surfs trim Daytona Carpet, which rides premium sound deadening insulation. Sculpted side panels front modern power windows. The tunes kept steady thanks to a hidden Custom Autosound head unit and crisp JL Audio speakers. And in front of the driver, a tilting Flaming River column spins a polished and leather-wrapped steering wheel around billet foot pedals.
