Behind the smooth engine, a Shelby twin-disc DYAD clutch engages a Shelby-cooled Getrag 6-speed, which sends power to big gears and a limited-slip differential. At the corners of the car, the aforementioned Wilwoods, which happen to be red-detailed, 6-piston units, squeeze giant drilled and slotted rotors behind standard Shelby ducts. Turns come courtesy of Ford's super-efficient power-assisted steering. Exhaust flows through large-diameter pipes to throaty Borla mufflers. Naturally, Ford's standard ABS and AdvanceTrac traction control systems are present and accounted for. And all this first-class speed and agility rides on the aforementioned Shelby alloys, which spin 275/35ZR20 Michelin Pilot Super Sports in front of 345/30ZR20 Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

INTERIOR

Inside this 'stang, heated Katzkin seats, which feature 6-way power adjustment for the car's driver, center patriotic accents between red stitching and monochromatic “GT350” scripts. Opposite those thrones, a familiar Mustang dash hangs satin-trimmed telemetry beneath integrated Auto Meter A-pillar gauges. Below those vitals, crisp Shaker audio tops cool factory climate control.
