Titled as a 1966 Volkswagen sedan, this super slick roadster started life as a common people mover. Paraded only weekend miles since its grand transformation, the car wears sinuous Vintage Speedsters Ultra Wide Body fiberglass that mixes impressive fit and finish with rich black 2-stage. A stainless-trimmed windshield, polished overriders and a tasteful canvas roof accent that striking pigment. Teardrop tail lamps join modern wipers, stylish mirrors and modern headlights to make sure everyone stays safe. And overall, this custom rolls as a divine dichotomy of grandiose curves and subtle detailing.

When the original 356 hit the scene, Team Porsche's main focus was the overall driving experience. And, while most of today's customs prowl the streets as gassed up super stars, there's something to be said about prioritizing pleasure over power. Simple and easy to live with, this roadster's storied boxer motor utilizes dual carburetors to provide plenty of boisterous performance. Under that engine, a tough 4-speed serves power to the rear wheels. That power is countered by a predictable combination of discs and drums. EMPI-branded exhaust sounds great. Power meets the pavement through polished and Porsche-branded wheels, which twist 225/45ZR17 Nexen N3000s in front of 255/40ZR17 Nexen N3000s. And, fitted with a sturdy front sway bar, this roadster's fully reconditioned Volkswagen chassis is fully sorted and ready to hit the road.

One look inside this custom's svelte interior reveals just how serious the car's aspirations are when it comes to being driver-focused. Slim seats stretch tight Saddle leather under modern lap belts. In front of those seats, a leather-capped dash frames classy, original-style telemetry. And the driver carves curves through a wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel and a wood-capped floor shifter.
