That journey began in June of 1969 when the Grand Prix's first owner, who stewarded the car through the next 28 years, signed some papers at Omaha Nebraska's McKenzie Pontiac. When that owner passed, the Pontiac took up a 5-year residence with an immediate family member who, unfortunately, had to sell the car due to medical expenses. During the next 16 years, this gem would pass through the hands of three passionate collectors. And today, it rolls as a pristine, largely-original classic that caps original Warwick Blue paint with original Dark Blue Cordova top.

Under the hood, 400 cubic inches of original Pontiac V8 sports a correct “XH” assembly stamp above a matching 266911 partial VIN. That stout mill commands an original Turbo-Hydramatic 400 3-speed, which hangs a 1969 Grand Prix-exclusive “PW-69” assembly tag opposite a matching 266911 partial VIN. That proven torque slinger grinds power to a correct GM 10-bolt, which spins a posi-traction differential around mild, 3.23 gears. That drivetrain rides a heavy-duty suspension, which complements a thick sway bar and boxed rear control arms with original spiral shocks.
