Here at RK Motors Charlotte, we speak HEMI. Fluently. We have guys on staff who can look at a fender tag and tell you what it all means without the books and websites. They know if a color is right or maybe it's off by a shade or two, and they know where to look for clues to a cars history. They can spot body repairs based on how the undercoating was sprayed, or tell you whether the stitching on a seat is authentic. They don't know all this because it's their job; it's their job because they know all this. It's what they're passionate about.
When anyone talks about investing in muscle cars, the HEMI 'Cuda has to be near the top of any list of safe places to park some money. Their values have skyrocketed over the past few years, and by now, all the pretenders and fakes have been weeded out. The ones left standing are the ones that serious investors need to own. Those investment-grade cars are all matching-numbers, no-excuses, documented pieces that need no apologies. And when you pull into a show with a genuine R-code HEMI 'Cuda, it's a very big deal. When you own a real HEMI 'Cuda, you're a player, no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
So when this 1970 HEMI 'Cuda rolled off the trailer and our two most knowledgeable experts started poking and prodding, we knew something was up. They started decoding numbers and the oohs! and aaahs! started.
Here's the deal: this is a 100% numbers-matching, documented, investment-grade, 36,806-mile 1970 HEMI 'Cuda with no baggage. But don't just take our word for it; there's an original Chrysler Corporation Broadcast Sheet and a complete Govier inspection report, with photographs, that confirms all this, too. Call us and well fax it to you.

Stories? This 36,806-mile car has none. All the sheetmetal is original. All the glass is original. It is one of only 368 Hemis built with a TorqueFlite transmission. The high-quality restoration was finished a few years ago, and the car has seen very little use since. It was regularly detailed top and bottom and stored in a climate-controlled facility since completion. The only major deviation from the by the book restoration was the installation of a 4.10 gearset in place of the original 3.55s, just to make it that much more fun to drive. Nice car doesn't even begin to describe it.
The restoration was carried out to the highest standards using all the correct components, hoses, fasteners, and clamps. Although the fender tag suggests that the expected build date was October 13, 1969, the original door VIN decal indicates that the car was actually built sometime in November 1969. As a result, all the pieces on the car are properly date-coded prior to this. The engine casting date is 5-19-69, the transmission assembly date is 10-9-69, and the engine assembly date is 10-22-69. All 7 of the critical VINs on the car match, and we have a clear copy of the original broadcast sheet to go with it. This car is the real deal.
The color combination, Blue Fire Iridescent over a Bright Blue interior is currently believed to be 1-of-6, and it's absolutely stunning in the flesh. Even with the black vinyl top, this car seems to glow in the sunlight. Bodywork and prep are flawless, with super straight body gaps between every panel. The chrome is deep and wave-free, and all the stainless trim has been polished to a mirror-like shine. It sports 15-inch Rallye wheels with a correct set of F60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GT tires that give it just the right look.
Underneath, it is 100% detailed for show. The original floors are as flawless and glossy as the body, the lines, hoses and clips are correct, and the suspension is all-new. All the correct decals and inspection marks, such as the axle tag, are present for even the most discerning judges.
Lately there's been talk of market corrections and surprised investors who over-paid for their cars, but cars like this '70 Hemi 'Cuda aren't subject to those things. There are only a handful of investment-grade cars out there, and a matching-numbers R-code HEMI 'Cuda is one of them. This one has full documentation, a top-flight restoration, and a known history. In the world of automotive investing, that's as blue-chip as it gets, and this car is capable of anchoring the most important collections. Call us today to put a HEMI in your garage. We speak your language.
