A jaw-dropping roadster that mixes a modern stance with 1958-exclusive detailing, this stunning Vette is the product of a 4-year, ground-up restoration that was extremely thorough and exceptionally detailed. That rebuild is capped by a solid, original body that, after being completely stripped with glass beads, aligns excellent panel gaps under glossy PPG 2-stage. That pigment is led by a traditionally toothy grille, which rides between stainless-trimmed headlights, a translucent header roundel and stainless-trimmed parking lamps. At the sides of that grille, intricate bumpers bend around stainless-trimmed fenders that are detailed with small cross-flags and finned cove inserts. Between those fenders, a '58-exclusive hood leads the eye to a wiperless windshield, which supports a color-keyed hardtop. At the sides of that stainless-trimmed glass, a traditional driver's mirror complements traditional door handles. And at the back of the car, a flowing decklid hangs a second Corvette roundel and '58-exclusive trunk spears between stylish chrome bumpers and flush, stainless-trimmed taillights.

THE LS FUELIE

Sourced directly from Chevrolet Performance, this classic's proven LS3 utilizes 6.2 liters of displacement to create an impressive 440 horsepower! At the top of the aluminum mill, a remote filter element funnels wind into a modern throttle body with the help of custom, polished tubing. That bowl fronts trick electronic fuel injection that's been designed to mimic original Fuelie hardware. That air/fuel mixture progresses to rectangular-port L92-style heads, which tuck effortlessly under attractive valve covers that are a nice play on vintage, perimeter-bolt pieces. The fires get lit by color-keyed plug wires, which have been carefully sequenced to thoughtfully relocated coil packs. A nodular crank, powdered connecting rods and hypereutectic pistons provide compression, while a hydraulic roller cam maximizes intake efficiency. Speaking of breathing, the Chevy Orange block funnels spent gases through coated, long-tube headers. A muted aluminum radiator fronts a quick-spinning SPAL puller fan. And a Billet Specialties Tru Trac serpentine drive spins modern power steering beneath a polished AC compressor and a polished Powermaster alternator.

THE C6 C1

Park this pro-tourer on a lift and you'll find a spotless undercarriage that's prepped, primed and ready to roll. A tough Tremec 6-speed turns a 9-inch Ford axle that's finished with a posi-traction differential and stout, 4.30 gears. That world-class driveline is an integral part of a choice Art Morrison chassis which, in addition to employing sixth-generation Corvette suspension components, features a fully adjustable ride height thanks to Penske coil-over-shocks. At the corners of those powder-coated bones, bright Baer calipers siphon a familiar Wilwood master cylinder to squeeze large drilled and slotted rotors. The aforementioned power steering fuels a Detroit Speed rack-and-pinion set-up. Spent gases roar through stainless pipes and rowdy Kooks mufflers. And custom Forgeline wheels spin shaved Michelin Pilot Super Sports around polished lips, powder-coated spokes and polished spinners.

MAKE SIMPLE CLASSIC, AND CLASSIC SIMPLE

Pop the lightweight doors and you'll find a tastefully tweaked interior that continues this Corvette's striking visuals. Front and center, carefully reimagined buckets sport plush leather hides. In front of those seats, a leather-capped dash hangs clean Classic Instruments telemetry above direct-fit, Bluetooth audio and controls for modern air conditioning. At the bottom of that trifecta, requisite Daytona carpet floats color-keyed mats between customized side panels and a leather-booted shifter. And the driver spins a leather-wrapped and speed-drilled steering wheel.
