That taut drivetrain rides a Superformance heavy wall Jig-welded frame, which is married to a fully independent Superformance suspension. Turns come courtesy of manual rack-and-pinion steering. Stops are provided by power-assisted discs at all four corners that, thanks to this car's featherweight construction, are virtually impervious to fade. And power meets the pavement through attractive Knock-Off Wheels, which twist 255/60R15 Cooper Cobra Radial G/Ts in front of 275/60R15 Nitto NT555R Extreme Drags.

Between the doors, it's all purpose all the time, as monochromatic leather and fade-free carpet culminate in a simple yet attractive driving environment. Front and center, deep buckets pin soft pleats between three-point R.J.S. Racing harnesses and flashy Superformance floor mats. Looking forward, a leather-clad dash props an appropriate combination of Smiths and Lucas telemetry under a color-keyed top and a polished mirror. An angled shifter joins a polished E-brake between leather door panels, polished door latches and a polished fire extinguisher. And the driver carves curves through a polished and wood-rimmed steering wheel.
