Mixing 383 cubic inches of fuel injected stroker with automated gears, a full Heidts suspension and looks that could charm da Vinci, this Chevy literally defines the phrase “timeless classic”!

MAKE CLASSIC BETTER, AND BETTER CLASSIC

A jaw-dropping hardtop that mixes aggressive stance with exquisite detailing, this stunning Nova is the product of a detailed, ground-up restoration that was extremely thorough and exceptionally detailed. That rebuild is capped by a sculpted profile that aligns great panel gaps under glossy Torch Red two-stage. That pigment begins at a stylish billet grille, which shades a chromed bumper and bright marker lamps between traditional, stainless-trimmed headlights. Those torches lead a familiar Cowl Induction Hood, which fronts a tinted and stainless-trimmed greenhouse that's cleared by polished stainless wipers. Polished mirrors reflect factory door handles between a polished fuel cap, custom cross-flags, stainless wheel lips and charming Nova scripts. And at the back of the car, a boxed decklid hangs a bright Chevy II valance between a second chromed bumper and stainless-trimmed LED taillights.

FUELIE STROKER

Pop the hood and you'll find 383 cubic inches of spry Chevy stroker that wraps a whole lot of show around a whole lot of go! At the top of that mean mill, a stylized spinner seats a polished air cleaner on reactive FiTech Go EFI 4 fuel injection. That throttle body, trimmed in billet and monitored by a liquid-filled Aeromotive pressure gauge, caps a chromed Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake. Wind and fuel make their way into lightweight aluminum heads, which float chromed Proform valve covers under a polished breather and a bowtie-stamped oil cap. Those “CHEVROLET” branded covers, secured with red-trimmed bolts, look great above coated Hooker Super Competition headers, which cage a Powermaster Ultra Torque starter. The fires get lit by a hot MSD distributor, which sparks loomed MSD Street Fire Wires. At the front of those cables, a fancy March serpentine drive spins a chromed alternator and a chromed AC compressor above fluid power steering. At the front of those ancillaries, electric puller fans cool a polished aluminum radiator that's finished with a polished, bowtie-branded cap. Naturally, the Torch Red engine features first rate details, like billet tanks, braided lines, billet hose ends and trick dipsticks. And the car's massaged engine bay wraps a polished latch, Wilwood brake components and quality Eddie Motorsports hood supports in stainless hardware and, you guessed it, bright Torch Red paint.

NEW HEIDTS OF PERFORMANCE

Most of you probably noticed the sturdy brace bars in this Nova's clean engine bay, and many of you probably know that those tubes are nowhere close to factory-correct. That's because that advanced hardware is an integral part of a fresh Heidts subframe that bolts decades of advanced engineering right up to the front of this timeless muscle car. That tough clip, equal part Torch Red and equal part polish, pushes tubular control arms and adjustable coil-over-shocks in front of a proven Heidts 4-link. That rear-clip, sprayed in Satin Black, tilts two more adjustable coil-overs at the sides of a fabricated 9-inch axle. That narrowed pumpkin, sourced directly from Strange Engineering, shares a beefy driveshaft with a smooth 700R4 4-speed that's finished with a chromed pan and a polished flywheel cover. Turns are easy thanks to power rack-and-pinion steering. At the corners, polished Wilwood calipers siphon braided Earl's lines to squeeze drilled and slotted rotors. Spent gases roar through massive, Mandrel-bent pipes that fill an H-shaped crossover and rowdy, single-chamber mufflers. The aforementioned FiTech system drains a polished aftermarket fuel tank that secured with Torch Red straps. And chromed Foose Knuckles spin staggered Michelin Pilot Sports under Heidts inner fenders and requisite mini tubs.

MAKE CLASSIC CUSTOM, AND BETTER CUSTOM

Pop the straight doors and you'll find a tastefully tweaked interior that continues this Chevy II's striking visuals. Front and center, modern bucket seats, complete with power adjustment for the car's driver, join a factory bench under plush, bowtie-branded leather that's stitched in red. A body-matched dash floats more red-stitched leather over handsome AutoMeter American Muscle telemetry and controls for modern air conditioning. Custom side panels hang billet handles over color-keyed carpet that's centered on a custom, red-stitched console. A billet, bowtie-branded mirror reflects a custom headliner. A modern Pioneer head unit bumps retrofitted kick speakers with the help of a big amp that's hidden in a custom, LED-lit trunk. And the driver enjoys the drive through a billet go pedal, a sturdy B&M shifter and an ornate Billet Specialties Monaco wheel that laps a polished, tilting column.
