A reusable filter element supplies breeze to spry Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection, which surfs a lightweight aluminum intake. That intake feeds hot oval-port heads, which flash lightweight aluminum castings under polished breathers, and chromed and custom-fabricated valve covers. The fires get lit by MSD HEI ignition, which sequences spark through loomed and sleeved Accel Super Stock Spiral Core plug wires. Coated long-tube headers dodge gray inner fenders. A polished pulley spins a polished water pump between a polished alternator and a polished AC compressor. An ornate, Chevrolet-branded closeout panel leads a polished AFCO radiator that's finished with a polished support, two electric puller fans and a snazzy Mr. Gasket ThermoCap. That pumpkin rides a factory-style 4-link rear-clip that's built with boxed control arms, a factory sway bar and AFCO coil-over-shocks. That clip pushes a factory-style independent front-half, which floats factory-style power steering amid RideTech coil-overs, RideTech StrongArms and a racing-spec RideTech sway bar. A polished brake booster joins a Wilwood master cylinder and a Wilwood proportioning valve to jolt red Wilwood calipers, which squeeze a quartet of drilled and slotted rotors. Charred dinosaurs traverse aluminized pipes, which roar through an H-shaped crossover, MagnaFlow mufflers and electronic cutouts that are operated via key fob. And at the corners, chromed American Racing Torq Thrust IIs spin 235/45R18 Goodyear Eagle Sports in front of 265/45R18 Goodyear Eagle Sports.

CUSTOMIZED: THE WAY IT SHOULD BE

The timeless Black interior hiding behind this Chevelle's glossy doors is a correct factory affair that, 51 years after its debut, is still both stylish and cool.
