If you're in the market for a showroom fresh muscle car with a super cool color combination, this is the car you've been waiting for. Purchased new by a Chevrolet enthusiast, this 2010 Camaro SS only has 204 miles on its odometer and has been immaculately maintained and rarely driven. It's equipped with GMs top option LS3 V8, a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission and features a long list of optional equipment including 21 inch GM Accessories wheels and a rare interior/exterior color combination that screams performance.
The paint and bodywork on this 2010 Camaro Super Sport are first rate. GM's panel alignment has come a long way since the 'bad old days' of Detroit and this car fits together extremely well with tight gaps and properly aligned body panels. On top of those panels, GM's smooth black basecoat/clearcoat paint amplifies the sinister sculpting of the cars body while unique Inferno Orange racing stripes take the phrase 'visual pop' to a whole new level. At the front of the car, new halogen headlights frame a black heritage inspired grille that houses a gold and silver Chevrolet bowtie and a chrome “SS” emblem that is inlayed with white. Above the grille, Chevrolet's familiar 'mail slot' air intake sits at the leading edge of the hood, and below that grille round fog lights occupy an SS specific front bumper cover. At the sides of the car, lines inspired by the first generation Camaro and the F-22 Raptor flow from the headlights to the tail lights and form the familiar 'coke bottle' muscle car shape that we all know and love. In front of the rear tires, three louvers are a direct nod to the car's heritage mimicking those found on the '69 Camaro. Behind the front tires, chrome “Camaro” badges ride high on the front fenders above chrome GM 'Mark of Excellence' badges which occupy the rocker panels. Just behind the raised Inferno Orange hood, factory fresh glass is flanked by sculpted, body colored mirrors and the roof houses a 'shark fin' antenna for the XM satellite radio. At the rear of the car, the Inferno Orange racing stripes stop at a subtle rear decklid spoiler which sits above another chrome “SS” emblem with a white inlay. On the rear valence, four chrome trimmed Chevrolet tail lights give a cool update to a traditional Camaro look and sit on either side of another gold and silver bowtie. The rear bumper houses a factory air splitter, small square reverse lights and stainless tips for the factory dual exhaust system. Like all of our essentially new offerings here at RK Motors Charlotte, the paint on this car is pristine and it doesn't exhibit any damage or road rash on the fenders or front bumper.
If there's one thing General Motors knows how to do and do well, it's V8 engines. There is nobody on earth who will dispute the fact that anything with eight cylinders and a Chevrolet badge on the flanks is going to be ferociously fast. Exclusive to the 6-speed Camaro SS, the 6.2 liter LS3 V8 under this car's hood uses a cast aluminum block, high flow aluminum heads, a high flow intake manifold, an aggressive camshaft, offset rocker arms, an upgraded electronic fuel injection system and coil near plug firing for a 10.7:1 compression ratio and virtually unmatched street car performance. It's rated at a cool 426 horsepower and 420 lb./ft. of torque and is outfitted with a cool Camaro exclusive shroud that has been painted orange and black to match the car. There are no leaks or squeaks of any kind and this car's engine bay appears just as clean as it did when it rolled out of GMs Oshawa Ontario factory in August of 2009. Everything is here, in factory new condition and ready to be modified for even more power and better performance.
Power flows from the torque rich LS3 to a slick-shifting Tremec 6060 6-speed manual transmission. That transmission is hooked to a factory equipped limited slip rear end with sporty, but reliable 3.45 gears. Built around that transmission and rear end is a Nurburgring tested all-independent performance suspension with heavy duty stabilizer bars, coil springs and performance shocks front and back. Variable ratio, speed sensitive power steering and Camaro SS specific Brembo four-wheel vented disc brakes with ABS and electronic brake distribution ensure that this is the best handling Camaro to date. And GM's Stabilitrak traction and stability control system and a 6-speed Camaro SS exclusive launch control system keep the power safe and manageable. Sitting in front of the cars “Brembo” and “Chevrolet” branded calipers are GM Accessories 21 inch machined wheels with Chevrolet center caps and 245/40 front and 275/35 rear Pirelli P-Zero tires. Not only does this Camaro perform with the best cars on the road, it looks absolutely awesome hunkered down on its 21 inch wheels and low profile tires.
Inside the car everything is factory new with no trace of wear on any of the seats or carpets. The heated and power adjustable Inferno Orange leather seats are near perfect in every way. When combined with the cars Inferno Orange door panel coves, dash accents and stitching, they really set off an otherwise simple and dark interior. The dash is unblemished and displays traditional silver trimmed Camaro gauges that are complete with a driver information center. To the right of the gauges, controls for the Boston Acoustics 9 speaker sound system that includes a CD player, an MP3 input jack and XM Satellite capability sit right above the center console. Inside that console you'll find factory optioned four pack gauges and a shifter with a leather shift knob and Inferno Orange stitching. Above the windshield you'll find a self-dimming rearview mirror that is equipped with GM's Onstar emergency assistance and navigation. In front of the driver, the tilt and telescoping steering wheel features leather with Inferno Orange stitching and houses buttons for the cars Bluetooth connectivity, the Boston Acoustics audio system and cruise control. The door panels house controls for the power adjustable heated outside rear view mirrors, power door locks and power windows with the express down feature. Safety equipment includes dual front airbags, side impact airbags, front and rear side curtain airbags, and a theft deterrent system.
Documentation for this car includes the owner's manual and warranty booklets, the original window sticker and dealer paperwork for the initial sale.
This 2010 Camaro SS gets a lot of attention in our showroom, and for good reason. Uniquely painted and optioned, it's a slick looking, factory fresh version of the hottest modern muscle car on the road. What Customers Are Saying
After hearing good things about the people at RK Motors, I contacted them regarding consignment of my street rod. I found Tony Klein to be a pleasure to work with. He was very professional and forthcoming in our communications. He evaluated my vehicle and made suggestions of enhancements which would help ensure the desired result would be achieved in the marketing of the vehicle. We agreed on an acceptable sale price. Following the completion of the recommended items, I brought the vehicle to RK for consignment. After a thorough inspection and correction of some minor issues at what I considered a fair price, the vehicle was offered for sale. It sold quickly with me receiving the agreed value. I would have to repeat the recommendation that I received. RK Motors does what they say they will do, and obtains for the seller a fair and agreed value. What more could you ask for?Doug C.
