That thoughtful freshening is decorated in crisp two-stage that floats clean white pigment under a glossy clearcoat shine. And niceties like polished bumpers, bright mirrors and a body-matched grille bar are highlighted by cool details like tinted glass, a Holley bed mat and fresh chrome rocker molding.

Toss this C10's broad hood and you'll find 383 cubic inches of hot BluePrint Engines small block that, thanks to a coated Quick Fuel carb and covert aluminum heads, twists 448 dyno-proven horsepower into 471 lb./ft. of dyno-proven torque! That mill was installed in front of a smooth 700R4 4-speed that was sourced directly from the pro's at Weatherford, Texas' Phoenix Transmission. That gearbox spins a familiar 12-bolt axle that's built with 3.90 gears and a posi-traction differential. A thick QA-1 sway bar leads decidedly factory chassis, which has been lowered five inches up front and seven inches out back thanks to drop spindles and Flip Kit springs. Factory power steering makes parking easy and turns a cinch. Stops come courtesy of power front disc and rear drum brakes. Plenty of 'go juice' is provided by an upgraded and relocated fuel tank. Big headers feed big stainless pipes, which front rowdy Flowmaster mufflers. And at the edges of the floor, $4K worth of Billet Specialties Prisms spin Midnight Blue spokes inside 255/40R20 Nitto NT420S and 285/40R20 Nitto NT420S.

RETRO RIGHT

Pop this Chevy's doors and you'll find a two-tone Silverado cockpit that's a perfect complement to the truck's trick wheels and glowing paint.
