Frame Up Built Coupe Blown ZZ4 600 HP TH350 with A/C

In the world of custom built hot rods there are nice cars, and there are cars that go to major shows and get handed trophies for just showing up. This sinister '34 Ford coupe features a custom chopped and channeled fiberglass body, a custom stitched interior, a custom built frame and a supercharged ZZ350 GM Performance Parts crate motor. It's a fully sorted, world-class build that is and ready to hit the road as soon as it rolls out of our RK Motors Charlotte showroom and will instantly be the star of any major event you attend.

Built from the frame up roughly 3 years ago, this '34 Ford wears a custom fiberglass body that looks every bit as good as the steel cars sitting in our showroom. With think resin throughout and no waves or imperfections, it displays excellent panel gaps which allow all moving parts to fit well and function properly. On top of the smooth gelcoat, the car is covered in a deep, glossy black that has been buffed to a brilliant shine and looks awesome next to the completely chromed out engine bay. Contrasting the shiny black paint is lime green tribal flames that are outlined with pale purple pin stripes and flow from the engine bay all the way to the car's rear wheels. In front of the engine, a custom steel grille surround frames a chrome grille and hangs two oversized chrome headlights with integrated turn signals. At the top of the grille, a traditional “Ford” emblem sits in front of traditional chrome trim that leads your eye to a custom machined “V8” emblem which provides a cool vintage hot rod look. Behind the engine, suicide doors carry no trim or door handles and open courtesy of electronic door poppers that are controlled by the cars door lock pegs. Above the doors, the greenhouse displays spotless glass in all four windows that is free of weathering and presents as new. At the back of the car, the trunk flows down to billet LED tail lights that are housed in a smooth rear valence and features centered custom lime green and pale purple pin stripping. Below the trunk, a custom retractable license plate hangs just above the ground in front of a finned rear end cover and chrome inboard mounted brakes. On the passenger's side of the trunk, the words “Let the good times roll” are painted in lime green and seem very appropriate below the chopped rear window and next to the giant Mickey Thompson tires. This car is chocked full of visual appeal. From the chrome engine-heavy front end to the well-done simplicity of its body and absolutely evil looking paint scheme; it's the kind of car that we all dream of owning as kids and pledge to build as adults.

Supplied by GM Performance Parts, the cars supercharged ZZ350 4 bolt Chevrolet crate motor produces around 600 horsepower on pump gas and is outfitted with a ton of show ready brightwork. Sticking up over the grille of the car, a polished and contoured air intake features lime green butterfly plates and feeds two bright finished Demon carburetors. Those Demon carburetors send fuel from stainless lines into a Blower Drive Service 6-72 blower that sits in front of an MSD billet distributor and an MSD performance ignition system. At the sides of that BDS blower, Brodix aluminum cylinder heads pile of even more performance and wear finned polished aluminum valve covers with matching finned aluminum breathers. Below the heads, MSD Super Comp wires snake around ceramic coated long tube headers that send exhaust into a true dual system that is equipped with Hushpower mufflers. In front of the motor, an aluminum serpentine engine accessory drive system spins billet pulleys that feature fresh belts and are attached to the engine, a chrome alternator and a chrome AC compressor. Fresh hoses run around that serpentine system to an Old Air Products radiator that, along with a transmission cooler, is housed in the cars custom steel grille surround. Not a detail has been missed in this engine bay, all plumbing is braided steel, there's an electric fan attached to the back of the radiator, and all caps and dipstick handles are attractive billet aluminum pieces.

Underneath the car an expertly built custom tubular frame incorporates 4 degrees of rake and a custom suspension that creates an unforgettable driving experience. Mounted directly behind the engine is a Turbo-hydramatic 350 3-speed transmission that provides reliable and stout shifts, making good use of all the monster engines horsepower. At the front of the car, an independent front suspension features a solid axle, polished coil over shocks, a manual steering rack and C4 Corvette disc brakes. And at the back of the car you'll find a Halibrand quick change rear end that houses inboard Jaguar style disc brakes. The bottom of the body is exceptionally clean and along with the custom frame, has been painted to match the cars black exterior panels. And, once again, a lot of thought was put into the details with the TH350 transmission featuring a finned pan that matches the cars finned rear end cover, all fuel and brake lines being stainless steel and all brake hoses braided to match the rest of the cars plumbing. Up front, 18 inch one piece forged and polished Mickey Thompson HR-1 wheels ride on 26x6 Mickey Thompson performance radials. Out back, 20 inch one piece forged and polished Mickey Thompson HR-1 wheels are the widest HR-1 wheels available for purchase and ride on huge 33x22 Mickey Thompson performance radials.

Inside the car a black leather interior adds to the serious nature of the cars sinister good looks. Open the suicide doors and you'll find black door panels that are stitched in lime green and mounted to fully painted doors with chrome lock posts. In the middle of those door panels, a leather bench seat features matching lime green stitching, separate contoured back pieces for both the driver and passenger, and integrated controls for the cars Clarion audio system. In front of the seat, a body matched dash houses Classic Instruments gauges that include a speedometer and tachometer, basic engine vitals, a boost gauge and a trick gear selector. You'll notice the intentional absence of an ignition switch because the car has a keyless ignition system that involves a key fob and short start up procedure. Above the polished rear view mirror, at the top of the windshield, a polished control panel for the Old Air Products heat and air conditioning system sits beside switches for the cars power windows. In front of the driver, a Grant steering wheel is attached to a polished tilt column that springs up from a finished floor board with like-new black carpet. To the right of the wheel, a small painted custom console house a custom shifter that carries an aircraft themed shift knob. Behind the cockpit, a sizeable trunk is fully finished with more like-new black carpet and houses the cars Clarion Am/FM CD player, an Optima battery and a kill switch for added security.
