Backing that engine, a tough 4-speed Freeway Flyer overdrive transmission, upgraded with a billet aluminum short throw shifter, serves power to the rear wheels via a 3.88 final gear. That power is countered by a predictable combination of discs and drum brakes. Blacked out, center exit sport exhaust sounds great. Power meets the pavement through chrome 15” wheels, which spin new 185/70R15 radial tires. And, fitted with a sturdy front sway bar, this roadster's fully reconditioned Volkswagen chassis is fully sorted and ready to hit the road.
