Built to turn heads and make noise, this 1952 Chevrolet 3100 5-window is a full custom restomod that blends old-school charm with modern street presence. The product of a multi-year, ground-up build professionally completed by Denz Place Auto Restorations out of Linden, MI, this truck was stripped to bare metal, thoroughly reimagined, and finished to a high level of detail from top to bottom.

The bodywork stays true to the classic lines but features several subtle custom touches. The original hood trim and factory badges were shaved for a cleaner aesthetic, replaced by a modern 'RST' emblem up front. The grille remains stock in design, but the turn signals were removed and cleanly integrated into the headlights. Headlights are frenched, door handles have been shaved, and the windshield wipers were removed entirely. Fabricated running boards tie the fenders together with a seamless look, and the smoothed tailgate now fits flush and features custom-painted, monochromatic 'CHEVROLET' script. Inside the bed, you'll find a beautifully finished combination of stainless and wood trim that elevates the truck's craftsmanship even further. The body was finished in PPG's dazzling Blue Heaven…a deep, candy blue metallic that absolutely glows in sunlight and sets this Chevy apart from anything else in the lot. Boze wheels wrapped in Nitto Motivo redline tires add a clean, modern touch, while side-exit exhaust with rectangular tips tucked beneath the running boards hint at the muscle underneath.

This truck hasn't just turned heads, it's taken home trophies. Since its completion, it's earned multiple awards including Best Truck at the 2020 AutoRama and Best Interior at the 2024 AutoRama.

Lift the hood and you're greeted by an engine bay that's just as striking as the exterior. Finished in satin blue to match the body, it cradles a gloss red big block with matching valve covers and dual air cleaners. Polished carburetors and an aluminum intake manifold provide contrast, creating a visual punch that matches the truck's bold personality.

Power comes from a balanced and blueprinted 454 cubic inch V8, bored .040 over to approximately 462 cubes. The engine features a COMP cam, lifters, rockers, and springs, along with flat-top pistons and dual Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetors. Sanderson headers flow into a dual stainless steel exhaust system with Borla mufflers and electric cut-outs for an aggressive bark on demand. The estimated output is around 425 horsepower. Backing it all is a smoothed and painted TH400 3-speed automatic transmission, delivering power to a gray-painted Ford 9” rear end with 3.70 gears and a limited-slip differential.

Underneath, the truck rides on a painted Fat Man Fabrications chassis with a triangulated 4-link rear, QA1 adjustable coil overs at all four corners, power rack-and-pinion steering, and four-wheel power disc brakes by CPP with red calipers and a brake balance controller. The undercarriage is cleanly detailed, with body-matched blue surfaces, a red engine and transmission, and contrasting gray chassis components.

Inside the cab, the attention to detail continues. Before assembly, the interior metal surfaces were sprayed in a smooth satin red finish to ensure that areas not covered by upholstery, like the dash, door frames, and inner cab walls, all shared a cohesive and elegant tone. Once that was complete, red carpet was laid down, and a custom bench seat was installed, wrapped in red leather with rich brown ostrich inserts. Matching door panels carry the theme further, while a custom console hosts power window switches, dual cupholders, a switch for the electric cut-outs, a switch for the electric cowl, and a Bluetooth-equipped Pioneer head unit. A polished, tilting steering column holds a leather-wrapped 3-spoke wheel, while the dash is fitted with Classic Instruments white-face gauges, Vintage Air climate control, and even a traffic light viewer for a bit of vintage flair.
