700hp Supercharged 6.2L V8 4-Speed Auto 12 Bolt Rear Axle Power Disc Brakes
This 1971 Chevelle restomod found its new owner before we could get it in the photo booth. A returning customer, already pleased with his previous purchases, visited the showroom, saw it in person, and immediately secured the car before the rest of the world got the chance.
Built over five years and completed in 2022, the car features a deep gloss black finish with subtle ghost Super Sport stripes. All chrome and trim, including the bumpers and windshield frame, was blacked out for a uniform, menacing look. Staggered Boze wheels (19-inch front, 20-inch rear) wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sports provide a striking contrast.
Power comes from a supercharged 6.2L LT4 crate engine tuned to 700 horsepower, backed by a 4L80E 4-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear with 3.73 gears and Positraction. The chassis includes a 4-link rear, double A-arm front suspension, adjustable coilover shocks, and Wilwood power disc brakes with cross-drilled and slotted rotors all around.
Inside, the Chevelle is finished with TMI upholstery, a custom dashboard with AutoMeter gauges, and a custom center console housing a touchscreen head unit with Bluetooth connectivity, Vintage Air climate controls, and power window switches. A classic 3-spoke Chevy steering wheel is paired with power steering for confident, modern driving.
