Rotisserie Restored K5 Blazer 4x4 350ci V8 Automatic Power Steering Power Brakes
Vintage 4x4s are hotter than ever, and first-generation K5 Blazers have become true icons in the collector space. With open-air capability, timeless style, and real off-road chops, they represent one of the most versatile platforms to come out of the classic truck era. This 1972 Blazer takes that legacy and builds on it, retaining its vintage identity while being elevated with CST-style touches and a meticulous rotisserie restoration completed in 2025.
The body was stripped to bare metal, meticulously prepped and sanded, then refinished in a shade of blue that resembles Hawaii Blue and extends all the way underneath…the undercarriage is painted to match for a fully detailed, show-quality presentation. Chrome bumpers and body side moldings, characteristic of the CST trim, provide a sharp contrast and add a subtle upscale touch. The stance is aggressive yet balanced, sitting over 15-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 33x12.50 BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires that deliver capability and attitude.
Power comes from a 350ci small-block V8 with a 4-bolt main bottom end, fed by a 4-barrel carburetor and aluminum intake manifold. Ram horn exhaust manifolds flow into a custom dual exhaust system with chambered mufflers, giving it the right tone without being over the top. The TH350 3-speed automatic transmission transfers power to a robust NP205 transfer case, which distributes torque to a Dana 44 front axle with manual locking hubs and a 12-bolt rear axle featuring 3.07 gearing and a Positraction differential for improved traction. The truck also benefits from power steering and power brakes with discs up front.
Inside, the CST inspiration continues into the blue interior interior. The bucket seats and rear bench were fully restored and trimmed in vinyl with embossed scroll details and vertical pleats, giving the cabin an upscale factory vibe. A center console with cupholders adds functionality, while the color-keyed dash features a woodgrain bezel surrounding classic-style gauges. Blue carpet ties it all together, and a 4-point roll bar adds both safety and structure without intruding on the clean aesthetic.
This Blazer is clean everywhere you look…top to bottom, inside and out. It's documented with the original invoice, Protect-O-Plate, restoration photos, and even the original sales brochure. With classic looks, proper upgrades, and a professional-grade finish, this is a standout example of one of the most sought-after vintage SUVs on the market today.
