Custom 1937 Ford Street Rod 6.0L LS2 V8 Automatic A/C

The 1937 Ford has long provided an appealing foundation for custom builds, with its flowing fenders, prominent grille and streamlined prewar profile lending itself particularly well to the street rod treatment. This roadster takes that familiar shape in a thoroughly custom direction, with smooth bodywork, a low stance and carefully integrated details throughout. Finished in copper-bronze metallic and complemented by a removable tan top, it presents a polished interpretation of one of Ford's most recognizable prewar designs.

The body is finished in metallic copper-bronze, with the exterior extensively smoothed and virtually all traditional brightwork eliminated. Beneath the body is a custom boxed-frame chassis incorporating independent front suspension with tubular control arms, adjustable coilovers, power rack-and-pinion steering and an anti-sway bar. The rear axle is supported by a 4-link suspension with adjustable coilovers and a rear anti-sway bar. Power-assisted 4-wheel disc brakes complete the chassis package.

Inside, the street rod theme continues with a custom tan interior featuring contoured bucket seats, sculpted door panels and matching carpeting. The body-color dashboard carries a clean array of white-face VDO instrumentation, including separate gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, speed, RPMs, fuel level and voltage. A polished tilting steering column supports a custom billet steering wheel with a tan leather rim, while a floor-mounted automatic shifter places the gear selector within easy reach. Modern air conditioning is integrated beneath the dash, along with power accessories, while an Eclipse AM/FM/CD audio system adds entertainment without substantially altering the streamlined cabin.

This 1937 Ford carries the character of a classic American street rod while benefiting from extensive mechanical and comfort upgrades intended for modern driving.
