Lowered Chevrolet K5 Blazer 350 V8 Automatic PS PB A/C Kicker Audio
Introduced as a competitor to the legendary Ford Bronco and venerable International Scout, Chevrolet's awesome K5 Blazer could be considered the Camaro of SUVs -- it didn't create the segment, but it certainly set the standard! In fact, the Blazer was such a success that Chrysler, the company every SUV manufacturer continues to chase, ultimately created offerings like the Ramcharger and original Jeep Cherokee as direct competition. Built on a solid foundation of timeless utility and proven performance, this handsome Blazer is a first-rate exercise in old school style and street rod swagger. And if you're looking for a super cool cruiser that can be enjoyed for years to come, it's the classic of your dreams!
BODACIOUS BOX
Now, when it comes to classics, few vehicles have aged better than 1970s Chevrolets. And that goes double for something as undeniably immutable as a storied SUV. This old school Blazer is a solid half-cab ute that's been subjected to great maintenance and acute restoration throughout its 45-year existence. Paint is delightfully retro, with chic Seamist Green pigment correctly caging glossy White pigment in Chevy's iconic two-tone scheme. The truck's shaved profile stays robust thanks to a removable hardtop. And niceties like polished bumpers, bright mirrors and simple factory door handles are highlighted by cool details like tinted glass, a roll down rear window and $2,500 worth of fresh gold trim.
DROPPED DRIVE
Toss this K5's broad hood and you'll find 350 cubic inches of reliable Chevy small block that supplements proven factory internals with long headers, hot HEI ignition and a modern Edelbrock carburetor. Behind that Corporate Blue mill, a dressed Turbo-Hydramatic 350 3-speed spins a tough 12-bolt axle. That familiar powertrain pushes a decidedly factory chassis, which has been lowered five inches up front and six inches out back thanks to drop spindles, Belltech Nitro Drop shocks and Flip Kit springs. Factory power steering makes parking easy and turns a cinch. Stops come courtesy of power front disc and rear drum brakes. The aforementioned headers feed aluminized pipes, which hang an X-shaped crossover in front of rowdy Flowmaster mufflers. And at the edges of the floor, handsome U.S. Mags Ramblers spin 245/40ZR20 Kumho Ecstas in front of 275/40ZR20 Kumho Ecstas.
AMPED RIDE
When you pop this Blazer's doors, you'll find an airy Buckskin Custom Deluxe cockpit that offers a great contrast to the truck's genial paint. A factory console splits factory buckets in front of an elevated factory bench. A blocky dash is fashioned around modern Alpine audio and factory air conditioning. That Bluetooth-capable head unit, part of an $8K aftermarket system, bumps Kicker amps, a duo of 12-inch Kicker subs and a quartet of professionally installed speakers. Those speakers and subs are tucked behind expertly modified side panels, which border clean carpet. And the driver spins an unassuming Chevrolet steering wheel.
Looking for a unique cruiser that mixes solid restoration with unmatched style and instant fun? Check out this cool Chevy! It's fully sorted. It features proven small block power. And best of all, it's retro-chic aesthetics are sure to cue smiles and inspire stares. Call, click or visit https://www.RKMotors.com for more information.
