After multiple teasers and several months of waiting, the new 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV has finally debuted, adding a fresh SUV body style to the battery-powered Hummer lineup. Reservations for the range-topping Hummer EV SUV Edition 1 are now full.

Reservations for the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV opened up with the model’s debut on Saturday, April 3rd. The reveal was made during the NCAA’s Final Four, and included a new commercial film narrated by basketball legend LeBron James. James also helped to announce the new Hummer EV pickup truck.

Although it’s unclear at this time how many units of the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV Edition 1 were slated for production, reservations for the range-topper filled approximately an hour after they opened.

Pricing for the 2024 Hummer EV SUV Edition 1 starts at $105,595. Adding the optional Extreme Off-Road Package brings the bottom line up to $110,595.

Specs for the standard Hummer EV SUV Edition 1 include more than 300 miles of range, with 830 horsepower on tap thanks to a triplet of electric motors. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph takes roughly 3.5 seconds.

Although all units for the range-topping 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV Edition 1 are currently spoken for, reservations for the three remaining  trim levels are still open. The three remaining trims include the Hummer EV3X (830 horsepower) priced at $99,995, the Hummer EV2X (625 horsepower) priced at $89,995, and the Hummer EV2 (625 horsepower) priced at $79,995. The Hummer EV3X and EV2X both offer over 300 miles of range, while the Hummer EV2 offers 250 miles of range.

Deliveries are expected to ramp up early in the 2023 calendar year for Hummer EV SUV Edition 1 models, while lower trims will follow shortly thereafter.
