JL Wrangler Owner's Manual Revealed

By RK Motors - Oct 15, 2017

Here it is folks, everything you want to know about the JL Wrangler—but you just can’t drive it yet.

A PDF copy of the owner’s manual and user’s guide has leaked on Wrangler Forums. From the full-color rendering of the four-door Wrangler on the cover to the full illustrations throughout the books, almost all of our questions have been answered. Well not everything, pricing is still a secret.

We now get a solid look at the Wrangler’s cockpit and the many changes from the current JK. The infotainment display in the dash is packed full of off-road goodies including real-time updates on latitude and longitude, altitude, and the pitch and roll of the vehicle. Also mounted handily on the instrument panel are four programmable auxiliary switches for your various off-road bells and whistles.

As far as the exterior, the manual includes instructions for removing the stubby bumper caps to modify the looks and crawling capabilities of the new Wrangler, at least until an aftermarket one is bolted on. Jeep also appears to have streamlined the process for removing the doors, adding heavier-duty door checks and easier-to-access hinge pins.

To talk lights, interior light dimmers, fog lights, and the headlight controls have been moved to a twist knob to the left side of the instrument panel. We are also treated to extra interior reading lights to brighten late night tasks.

Enough from us, click the link HERE to check out the 100-plus pages for yourself, this could easily take up an entire lunch break—or workday.
