Logging only 1,072 miles since it rolled off GM's Oshawa, Ontario assembly line and straight into the state of everything bigger, this awesome 1,021 horsepower Camaro is a spotless and equally sinister approach to the ultimate muscle car. In fact, likening this road rocket to an everyday Camaro SS is akin to debating the similarities between UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez and your neighborhood gym junkie: THERE IS NO COMPARISON! The car's rich Cyber Gray paint presents an extra polished appearance thanks to a pair of striking blue hockey stripes. Naturally its slick, showroom fresh fit is as close to perfect as a factory car can get. There isn't a speck of road rash anywhere on its nose, rockers or broad gray flanks. And honestly, with so few miles on the clock, this pristine Chevy just hasn't had the opportunity to find any significant trouble on the street or in the ditch. In a world where livability continues to compromise performance, it's nice to see a car that embodies the all speed, no holds barred mindset which defined America's original muscle cars for most of their existence.

Not overly styled like some of its more common pony car counterparts, Hennessey's signature Camaro takes GM's award winning design and throws in just enough personality to provide a profile that's as familiar as it is refreshing. At the front of the car, Chevrolet's 80s-inspired fascia is accented by a clean grille, a traditional blue bowtie and a carbon fiber chin spoiler. At the top of the car, an optional sunroof rides above a solid sealing greenhouse and a raked windshield which displays a large “Hennessey” script. At the sides of the car, well-placed “LSX” call-outs ride above carbon fiber rocker extensions that somehow visually diminish the profile's controversial heft. And at the back of the car, a small carbon fiber trunk spoiler floats above a blue “Hennessey HPE1000” call-out, a second blue bowtie, a slick carbon fiber splitter, and bright “Hennessey” branded exhaust tips.

Pigments are pretty and stripes are cool, but now it's time to get down to business. If you think the exterior of this car is impressive, you're going to LOVE what's under its hood. Cranking out a smooth 855 rear wheel horsepower in pump gas guise and a killer 1,021 max rear wheel horsepower, this Camaro's lightweight, high performance LSX V8 is about as close as you can get to being duct taped to the fin of a rocket! Derived from GM's very successful LS engine, the hot 7.0 liter (427 cubic inch) cast iron thoroughbred benefits from a Callies 4340 forged steel crank, forged steel connecting rods, forged aluminum pistons, a custom HPE camshaft, ARP hardware and a completely balanced and blueprinted rotating assembly. A perfect amount of air and fuel is supplied by a 90mm throttle body, upgraded injectors and two K&N air filters that funnel wind through two twin ball bearing turbochargers. That air and fuel mixes in a high performance F.A.S.T. intake manifold and progresses to ported LS3 cylinder heads that are fitted with aftermarket valves. And immediately following combustion, spent gases roar into a three inch Hennessey stainless exhaust system. The big mill sits in a sequentially numbered bay that displays OEM-level attentiveness to both engineering and assembly. Details like an upgraded fuel system, a built in boost controller, dual wastegates and dual intercoolers ensure everything works as promised. And overall, the vicious block looks spectacular, fires and idles perfectly, and accelerates like a pure-bred race car.

Take a look under this Chevy and you'll find a factory fresh chassis that's clean, modified and ready to pound the pavement. Side step the car's third pedal and a SPEC P-Trim twin disc clutch engages a slick-shifting Tremec 6060 6-speed manual transmission. That transmission is hooked to a factory limited slip rear end, sporty 3.45 gears and stage five half shafts that are rated up to 1,000 horsepower. Built around that driveline is a Nurburgring tested independent performance suspension that's been augmented with a heavy duty sway bar kit and Pedders coil over shocks. Variable ratio, speed sensitive power steering, big Brembo calipers and 2-piece drilled rotors combine with factory ABS and electronic brake distribution to ensure this is the best handling Camaro to date. GM's Stabilitrak traction and stability control system works with a 6-speed Camaro SS-exclusive launch control system to keep the power safe and manageable. A sweet, but equally brutal soundtrack is provided by the aforementioned three inch Hennessey exhaust system. And the car's “Brembo” branded calipers are fronted by 20 inch Hennessey wheels that spin 275/35 front and 305/35 rear Nitto NT555 tires around bright blue spokes.

Inside this pristine Camaro you'll find a factory fresh cockpit that displays virtually no wear at all. The car's “Hennessey” branded leather seats are supple, supportive and near perfect in every way. The dash, which features the same dark gray accents as the car's scuff-free door panels, hangs traditional, silver-trimmed Camaro gauges between a serialized Hennessey plaque and a standard a driver information center. To the right of those gauges, controls for the Boston Acoustics nine speaker sound system ride right above factory four pack accessory gauges and a small factory shifter.
