While this highly modified Camaro Z/28 might not be the answer to everything, it's certainly your chance to realize the dream of owning a legitimate, curve-carving track car!

Piling $30K of Detroit Speed upgrades on Chevrolet's already phenomenal Z/28, this fifth-generation Camaro puts the spec in specialty! The outside of this beast strikes a careful balance between cutting weight and staying street legal. Up front, a factory bumper cover centers factory headlights and Chevrolet's trick flowtie between a carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber fenders and a carbon fiber splitter. Further back, factory mirrors reflect factory glass between a carbon fiber roof, carbon fiber doors and carbon fiber rockers. Those rockers lead to factory quarters, which hang carbon fiber flares under a carbon fiber deck that's finished with a factory spoiler and an aftermarket wicker bill. That bill shades a second factory bumper cover, which frames factory taillights and polished exhaust tips. And added function is provided by a shark fin antenna, front and rear tow hooks, and a rooftop Race-Keeper camera.

One of GM's most legendary modern powerplants, this coupe's rowdy LS7 pairs Granatelli coils and Granatelli wires with an MSD intake and a custom tune to twist 500 horsepower and 475 lb./ft. of torque straight to the rear wheels. That power flows through a tough Tremec TR6060 6-speed, which commands a Torsen limited-slip differential that's packed with big, 3.91 gears. That awesome drivetrain is suspended in a proven Camaro 1LE chassis that, in addition to factory tweaks for the Z/28 package, has benefitted from choice Detroit Speed upgrades. Variable-ratio power steering joins Brembo calipers and slotted rotors to ensure this is one of the best handling Camaros to date. Long-tube headers feed aluminized, true-dual pipes to create a sweet but equally brutal soundtrack. And this Chevy pounds the pavement through attractive factory blades, which spin massive 305/30R19 Bridgestone Potenzas around coated racing studs.

Inside this beast you'll find a clean leather and dinamica interior that's been upfitted with serious track-ready touchpoints. The driver and front passenger cinch Schroth belts across lightweight Cobra Technology racing seats. Naturally, the car's rear seats have been sacrificed for a harness mount bar and a Race-Keeper HDX2 multi-camera video logger. A factory dash props simple telemetry on factory audio and factory air conditioning. And the driver commands the course through a short shifter and a flat-bottom steering wheel.
