World-Class Bel Air Convertible Restomod 502ci 8-stack V8 Automatic Art Morrison
This incredible Bel Air is a highly detailed, well-executed custom that impresses in literally every way!
Winning awards at ISCA shows, World of Wheels shows, the Cavalcade of Customs, multiple Autoramas, and Carl Casper's shows, this old school Chevy wears a detailed, professional restoration that was completed by Jeff Wolfenbarger of Clinton, Tennessee's KoolKolors Rod and Custom. The car's fit and finish is exceptional, highlighting rich black paint. And not only does that mirror-like pigment present well from all angles, it provides a living testament to the allure of stellar design and American ingenuity.
Under the hood, a show-detailed engine bay displays a perfect blend of painted and polished components. The engine itself is a 502 cubic inch Chevrolet Performance big block that marries a broad power band with seemingly endless torque. That power comes courtesy of aluminum heads and Borla 8-stack electronic fuel injection. And polished headers dump spent gases in to a polished, true-dual exhaust system.
As previously stated, the car's body is solid steel that's been carefully restored to very high standards. That body rides a spry Art Morrison chassis that's been completely wrapped in glossy 2-stage. That frame rides a fully upgraded suspension that's led by power rack-and-pinion steering. Power meets the pavement through a 4L80E 4-speed automatic transmission. And at the corners, meaty Goodyear Eagles spin stylish Schott Accelerators around big Wilwood discs.
As spectacular as this tri-five's body and drivetrain are, its interior borders on art. Installed by Steve Holcombe of Pro Auto Custom Interiors, the car's leather is rich and luxurious: trending more toward '21st century royalty' than 'mid-50s Americana'. And just when you think you've taken it all in, layers of incredible detailing continue to pique your attention.
Striking, tasteful and ready to steal the show, this custom Bel Air is poised to drop jaws and win trophies! We'd like to thank the car's happy new owner for choosing RK Motors Charlotte for all his octane-fueled needs. Here's to many years and many more miles behind the wheel of classic Motor City metal!
