Resto-Mod Custom-Built LS Powered 1964 Chevy C10
This 1964 Chevrolet C10 custom resto-mod pickup is not only a classic but fun to cruise along the road in. The C10 model was one of the most popular variants in the lineup and has become a favorite among vintage truck enthusiasts and this one will not disappoint the Chevy Nation.
The C10 had a rugged and utilitarian design, typical of pickup trucks from that era. Unlike this two-tone hot rod that has looks along with creature comforts including power seats, air conditioning, tilt column and power windows. The interior has custom upholstered power seats along with custom door panels.
Not a run of the mill power plant here. Under the hood is an all-aluminum 5.3 LS engine with an Atomic Air intake manifold by MSD. Behind the powerful LS engine is a six speed 6L80 automatic transmission shifted on the column. Power hits the ground via a 12-bolt rear end. To bring this truck to a halt is power brakes with disc on all four corners.
Handling comes from upgraded suspension front and rear along with RideTech control arms and coil over shocks all around. The 22” wheels are from American Racing and look just right on this ride.
The short bed interior is finished in wood with the gas tank access door located near the tailgate which has hidden latches.
