The 1965 Ford Mustang is a classic American pony car that is highly regarded and sought after by car enthusiasts and collectors. This one is a full custom, one of-a-kind Mustang Fastback Pony Resto-Mod that is essentially a new car with numerous improvements. The restoration of this high-powered pony was completed about a year ago, and the car has been continuously garaged ever since.

The Mustang has a sleek and sporty design, featuring a long hood, a short rear deck, and a classic pony emblem on the grille. This fastback was treated to nut and bolt rotisserie restoration that makes it a standout in any crowd.

Engine power under the hood is all business with a Ford Racing X2347D 347 Stroker V8 that was treated with only the best inside and out. Backing up the 347 is an AOD high performance 4 speed automatic street transmission including an 1800 stall speed converter. Putting all that power to the street is a 9” Detroit Truetrac limited-slip differential.

This is no ordinary Stang suspension under this wild Pony that is riding on a Pro Touring front suspension kit with Ride-Tech adjustable coil overs, Tubular A-arms, front sway bar, Ride-Tech lowered rear leaf springs and Viking double adjustable rear shocks. Halibrand styled wheels with knock offs and BF Goodrich tires are located on all four corners.

With 360 horsepower you need to be able to stop that power quickly. Wilwood disk brakes front and rear with Wilwood master cylinder & Wilwood calipers along with slotted and drilled rotors help bring this wild horse to a stop.

The interior by BJ'S Upholstery is not only good looking but functional with custom black leather and suede upholstered front seats, custom black leather and suede upholstered rear folding seats, custom suede TMI headliner, custom center console and black carpeting. Rounding out the interior is a tilt steering column by Flaming River, custom steering wheel, digital gauges, air conditioning and Retro Sound stereo system.
